Pellucid Error: News

Looks like the new year's first quarter has brought changes for Pellucid Error and the way things were planned. The better part of last year was spent searching for musicians who would co-write the next Pellucid Error album and form the live band. Getting caught up in other various projects also took up a good amount of time!

The right musicians for the project have not yet come along, but it is a search that will continue. During this time focus will be moved away from searching for members and put back into writing new material.

The good news is that as a result of this, the new album's creation will no longer be on hold! I plan on just going back to writing the album solo. This will of course mean the direction of the album will be shifted to something a bit different than what was previously planned.

New music will be posted on occasion throughout the albums creation! There is already one new track that has been released, but it is uncertain what it's role may or may not be on the album. Visit often for updates to come!

Auditions for live band members and writing sessions for new material have been going on over the last few months. Matt of Pellucid Error has been involved in other projects as well, including a project quite different from Pellucid Error.

"Pellucid Error's music is on the mellower side that people can probably more commonly relate to than something much heavier that I may write. Not to label it as easy listening or anything, it's just much more tame than other music I've created, and continue to create separate from Pellucid Error. I have an album I am working on for Pellucid Error, but I'm also increasing my involvement back into my other project I started a while ago and kind of put aside for Pellucid Error. Both projects are in full effect now."

More info will be available in the near future regarding the new music from Pellucid Error, and the other upcoming project(s).

That was the number chosen before the contest was even announced, and
unbelievably, Kylicious entered that exact number as her guess! That

If you didn't know already, there are 2 samples of a brand new bonus track from the re-vamped/re-released "A Soul Evolution" posted for listening on the official Pellucid Error Myspace page! The song you may hear samples from is titled "All You Have is Now (Discrepancy)", and it is a bit more rock/live band oriented than a lot of other Pellucid Error music you have heard. You can expect more of this sound on the songs which will make up the new upcoming album, which is currently in the writing process, and will be released by spring 2010.

This is the first brand new music from Pellucid Error to hit the public ear since the original release date of A Soul Evolution. The new album is in the works, as mentioned before and you can expect more exciting news in the near future... Potentially more brand new music to listen to?

Hey everybody,

just wishing everyone a great 2009, and hopefully you've had a wonderful holiday season as well. 2008 was a good year for Pellucid Error, having recorded some new material, finishing up and releasing the official, long term, final version of A Soul Evolution, and beginning work on the all new album to be released in Winter 2009/2010. The new album is not yet titled and more info will be coming soon.

Other than that, the sale on the newly released album has ended, and the prices are back to normal (including downloads). If you missed the chance to buy the album at the sale price, no worries! There are going to be a few contests coming up to give you the chance to win not only a copy of the disc, but another brand new Pellucid Error item as well!

The newly printed re-release of the debut album, A Soul
Evolution, containing two brand new songs, and completely new album
artwork, has been made available for the first time in the last
couple days. A few lucky fans have already gotten a hold of the first
available copies, and the response to the new songs and album art has
been amazing!

Currently, online availability for the new CD is non-existent,
but in just a few days you will be able to get your hands on a copy
at the official website for $8.99 (www.PellucidError.com or
www.MySpace.com/PellucidError).

The album will be available at this special "new-release" price
until later December, so that everyone can get a steal on some new
music for the holiday season.

With the new CD coming out, there will definitely be a few
chances to win a free copy in the coming months, so be ready to enter

Just an update to let you know that the first commercially
produced Pellucid Error CD will be made available in just a few days!
The re-release of A Soul Evolution contains 2 never before heard
tracks, and has completely different artwork and graphics than the
original copies, which are no longer being produced.

It was announced recently that the release was going to be
available November 20th, but it appears things may be kicking off a
little earlier! in just a couple of days, A Soul Evolution will be
available online at:

www.MySpace.com/PellucidError.

There will be more ways and places to get a hold of this CD in
the near future, but for now, online is it.

Thanks to everyone who helped support the process by either
buying a copy of the original release, or even just being a fan and
and enjoying the music!

The last original copies of A Soul Evolution have been put on sale in order to make space for the Re-release version being printed at a higher quality, brand new album art, and TWO NEVER BEFORE HEARD UNRELEASED TRACKS! The process is currently being wrapped up and you will be seeing the re-release finished and happening in mid-to-late October! So everything is
lined up and nearing completion for the release of the re-vamped "A
Soul Evolution". Seems as though we should be seeing the re-release
happen sometime between late September and mid October. The music
previously heard on the album will remain unchanged, but a couple of
things are going to make the new version very cool, and worth
checking out.

There will be new, never before heard bonus music included on
the new version of A Soul Evolution, and the album will feature a
completely new layout and look, with all new album art! They will be
of much higher quality, but won't cost more than the old version!

Also, there will be quite a few opportunities to get your hands
on a free copy, so be ready and stay tuned!

Just a quick update on the newest news relating to Pellucid
Error's first release, "A Soul Evolution". The album is going under a
re-vamp and it will be printed/available again in the near future. No
estimated date is available yet, being this was decided upon very
recently.

This has happened because there were problems with a few copies
of "A Soul Evolution" in a recent batch, and there have been some
returns. This has been added to the newsletter because ANYONE who may
have gotten a defective copy of the album is entitled to a new,
working copy. So folks, if you, or anyone you know who owns the
album, has a defective copy, by all means, contact us immediately to
find out how to get a free replacement copy. Thank you!

As of now, there are VERY few copies left of the originally
released version of "A Soul Evolution", and what is left can only be
purchased online. Once they are gone, they are history, so grab it
quick...

2.) FANS HAVE A CHANCE TO HAVE THEIR OWN ART FEATURED IN THE
RE-RELEASE OF "A.S.E.":

When re-released, the music from "A Soul Evolution" music shall
remain exactly the same. The appearance/album art, on the other hand,
is set to be completely re-vamped, so here is your chance to get more

April has come to an end, and we have had a great month here at PellucidError.com...
